The Launching of the ARC

A mandate clearly came from our September ARC meeting: It's time to build. Up to that time, we were considering, consulting, dialoging. But after that gathering the grunt work began. We have completed the second draft of an ARC Ministry Plan, a document that includes our Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Paradigm of Transformation, Organizational Plan, Vision for the Future, and Questions and Answers about the ARC. Now we're ready to start work on the Constitution and By-laws. We have a team of people who have offered to work with us in this important process.

It has taken longer than some of us have expected, but the time has been well invested and will mean a steadier and more seaworthy craft. Our Constituting Convention has been scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, June 3 & 4, in the Twin Cities. Churches desiring to affiliated with the Alliance of Renewal Churches should contact the LR office for an application-and get ready to sail!
