A Lutheran Charismatic Bible School
Did you know that there has been a charismatic Bible school at North Heights Lutheran Church for the past 20 years? Are you aware that nearly 500 students have attended this school from 26 states and 34 countries?
The school is called the Lay Ministry Training Center. It is a two-year full-time Bible school which gives students a foundation for life whether they become truck drivers, homemakers, pastors, or missionaries.
The cost of LMTC is only $2,000 per year, which includes the cost of books and an outreach to Mexico. Although the school is not accredited, a number of colleges are now accepting credits from LMTC.
A recent graduate made this challenge, "Consider attending LMTC to get grounded in the Word of God and find out what God wants you to do with your life. At the same time, save money for college."
LMTC is a small school, averaging about 30 students, which meets from September - May, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday. The age range of students has been 18 to 85 years old which provides a family-like atmosphere.
